The Earthwood house has a diameter of 38’8”, with 16” thick cordwood masonry walls. Forty per cent (40%) of the cylindrical walls are composed of surface-bonded concrete blocks, and earth-sheltered. The separate sauna is 10’ in diameter with 8” thick walls. Earthwood is powered by 500 watts of photovoltaic cells and a Whisper 600 wind generator.
